Laurie Frasz, Director
Mrs. Frasz has a degree in Early Childhood Education and has been working in the field for over 20 years. She has traveled extensively and has been a teacher, a director, a program supervisor, a curriculum writer, served on accreditation teams and lead workshops, seminars and parenting classes in 6 states. She attends Old Dominion Baptist Church. She is married to a career Air Force Pilot, has 2 daughters, a son-in-law and 3 precious granddaughters. She enjoys travel, skiing, movies, good restaurants and shopping. Her favorite parts of the job are spending time with children in chapel or circle time, creating entertaining programs to present to parents and giving out lots of hugs every day!
Liz Fricke, Office Assistant
Mrs. Fricke is our full time office assistant. She graduated from the University of Richmond majoring in Marketing. She is married with 3 children and also has a dog, cat and a fish in her family! Liz attends Grace Episcopal Church. She loves running, going to the beach and spending time with her family. Liz is the gal to see for all tuition payments, questions and any changing information.
Other Staff Personnel
Dawn Doheny, Signe Yates, Gail Randall, Bobby Swindall
Dawn and Signe provide extra helping hands throughout the day. You might find them in 'lunch bunch', doing carpool or afternoon dismissals, making juice or fixing snacks, gathering craft supplies, helping teachers with projects or comforting a child who is having a difficult day. They help with parent coffees, school events and programs, ordering supplies..and subbing wherever we need!! You will find Gail assisting in Pee Wee Workout, Musical Moves and Suz-i-cal. She gets to know every preschooler as they come to these special classes. They fill in to sub wherever we need! After school, you might see Mr. Bobby. He keeps our place spic and span...cleaning and vacuuming every day...keeping those germs away, too! He takes care of the playgrounds, too! We love Mr. Bobby!
School Board
The School Council is a committee of 6-7 members of Haymarket Baptist Church who have a love for preschoolers and a desire to see children impacted by the message of God's love. They create the procedures and policies of the school and invest time in developing our staff, and in maintaining a quality program and facility. Chairperson, Joannie Duckett, also a trustee of the church has been with the school since it's inception in 1989. Her son was in the very first class at HBCP, and her grandchildren have also attended. Other council members include Jane Strong, Dinah Thompson, Ellen Plagata, and Tom Kennedy (who also plays Santa for us at Christmas).
