Sherry Doyle
Mrs. Doyle is a choral director, private vocal instructor and musical director for various choral ensembles, students and musicals. She received her Bachelors Degree in Vocal Performance and Music Education from James Madison University, and her Master's Degree from Florida State University in Choral Music Education, with an emphasis in research on vocal pedagory. Sherry is currently a Music Professor at Patrick Henry College, operates a private voice studio and continues to perform professionally in the Northern Virginia / D.C. area. Sherry and her husband, Chris, reside in Bristow with their two children, Andrew and Ariana. They attend Grace Life Community Church, where the family is active in the worship minitry. Sherry looks forward to teaching music to the fantastic four-year-olds at HBCPK.
Heidi Evans
Mrs. Evans joins our team this year as the music assistant for Mrs. Doyle. Heidi spent many hours subbing at our school last year, we are excited to have her become part of the regular staff! Mrs. Evans is married with 2 precious little girls (attending HBCPK) and she attends Gainesville United Methodist Church. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University with her major in Child and Family Studies.
Shelley Kozlowski
Mrs. Kozlowski, or "Mrs. K," has been teaching Pee Wee Workout at our school for many years. Pee Wee Workout is a nationally recognized fitness program designed exclusively for preschoolers. The program is designed to enhance coordination, gross and fine motor skills, listening skills and teamwork. Each week, Mrs. K introduces the four-year-old classes to the many ways they can keep their bodies happy, healthy and strong. This is accomplished through low impact aerobics, creative movement and songs. Puppet friends, such as Exercise Bear and Calcium Cow, stop by to visit the students as well. She also teaches Musical Moves to our three-year-olds. The children are introduced to a variety of instruments, creative movement and rhythm activities. A former preschool teacher, Mrs. K has been working with young children for over 15 years. She is married with two daughters.
Gail Randall
Mrs. Randall has been assisting with Pee Wee Workout, Musical Moves and even the 4's Music program for many years. Gail is a member of Haymarket Baptist Church and enjoys being a part of the fitness and music parts of our school. Mrs. Randall helps bring your child to the music and movement classes, and then return them to class. She assists Mrs. K with all aspects of the classes and enjoys the fun and unique experiences each days brings when working with children!
Suzi Burns
Mrs. Burns is the Kindergarten Music Teacher as well as the Cub Choir Director. Suzi has been a teacher at HBCPK for 5 years, she graduated from Susquehanna University as a Music major. She traveled and sang with a USO group that traveled all around the country called' Re-creation'. Suzi enjoys knitting, singing, reading and spending time at her children's sporting events. Mrs. Burns will direct Cub Choir each Wednesday after school for our K students and those students will travel and sing at various events in Haymarket.
Kelly Stone
Mrs. Stone is the Physical Education Instructor for our Kindergarten children. Students attend P.E. once a week on Tuesdays and should be ready for some great fitness fun and games. Mrs. Stone will be incorporating VA Standards of Learning for P.E. and introducing the Presidential Fitness Challenge. She will also organize our big field day event at the end of the year. Mrs. Stone comes to us with previous experience teaching P.E. at 2 area Christian Schools and she attended Liberty University. She worships at Grace Life Community Church, and is an active member with her involvement with the youth, missions and VBS. Kelly is married and has 3 children (2 attended HBCPK). She enjoys running, swimming and competing in area races.
