Jenny Brandt
Mrs. Brandt assists Mrs. Waskow in the afternoon Pre K program. Jenny spent so many hours at our school as a sub, we had to add her as a staff member! She has a Bachelor of Science degree from George Mason University. Mrs. Brandt is married with 2 children and attends St Katherine Drexel Church. She enjoys spending time with her family and three dogs, going to the beach and volunteering with her children's community swim team. She loves working with the children in every area and looks forward to sharing her afternoons with pre kindergarten children!
Lori Brown
Mrs. Brown has worked at our school for 15 years and has been working along side of Mrs. McNeil in the Pre-K morning program. She is from Falls Church, VA and attended Bridgewater College. Mrs. Brown is married and has two grown children. She attends church at Gainesville United Methodist. She enjoys shopping, visiting friends and volunteering at Brentsville High School. She loves helping children have special days by making them smile, she runs the morning carpool, and she is a great organizer in the classroom.
Jill Christopher
Mrs. Jill Christopher assists Mrs. Eickmann in the two-year-old classes on Wednesday and Friday. She has her Bachelor's Degree from Radford and her Master's from Virginia Tech. Jill is married with four boys, and each has attended our school, all graduates, except the youngest who attends our 4's program! She attends Haymarket Baptist Church and serves in the church nursery and Sunday school department. Jill enjoys time with her family at the beach or hiking or camping. She loves to see wonder and excitement in a child's eyes as they learn. She is a sweet and gentle spirit that will make each two-and-a-half-year-old child feel loved and special.
Colleen Davis
Mrs. Davis returns for her fourth year, and assists Mrs. Ream in the morning and afternoon 3's program MWF. Colleen has been an active parent, substitute and Bible Study leader at our school. She is married and has two young sons. Colleen attends Centerpointe Church of Fair Oaks where she is active in the toddler/nursery department, meal ministry coordinator and women's ministry leader. She enjoys reading with a good cup of coffee! Mrs. Davis has a sweet spirit that adores children, and has great organizational abilities, both of these attributes make her an asset to the classroom.
Amy Duff
Mrs. Duff begins her second year at HBCPK and assists Mrs. McNeil in her afternoon Pre K class. Amy is a graduate of George Mason University. She has eight years of teaching experience from two previous Christian schools. Amy enjoys creating handmade cards for friends and traveling with her family.
Amy Graziano
Mrs. Amy Graziano assists Mrs. Mason with the Tuesday-Thursday morning three year old program. Amy is married and has three children, her youngest attends our school. She attends Grace Life Community Church. Mrs. Graziano enjoys traveling, playing board games, planning parties and making cute cupcakes! She has lots of experience working with children, in church and school settings. Amy attended the University of New Orleans and the University of New Mexico, majoring in Elementary Education.
Vicky Hackler
Mrs. Hackler assists Mrs. Wilkens in the MWF morning 3 year olds and MWF afternoon 4 year olds. Mrs. Hackler's children are all graduates of our program and she spent time here subbing and then joining the staff as the music assistant...this year she will be a classroom assistant teacher. Vicky is married and has 3 children. She attends Park Valley Church.
Mable Hudson
Mrs. Hudson has been teaching and assisting at our school for twelve years. She attends Haymarket Baptist Church and seems to know just about everyone! She is active in all the activities at church and around town! Her special gift is working with our two-year-old classes. Her gentle and loving ways help these little ones adjust to a new place, make new friends and try many new experiences. She has one grown son and her husband's job has allowed her to travel to many parts of the world. She is very patriotic and loves music, especially the classics.
Joanne Keiser
Mrs. Keiser assists Mrs. Lawler in the Pre-K classroom each morning and assists Mrs. Mason in the afternoon 3's. She begins her sixth year at HBCPK! Joanne is married with 4 children, one who is currently a preschool director. Mrs. Keiser also is our testing coordinator for kindergarten readiness testing. She and her family attend Holy Trinity Church. Joanne enjoys gardening, reading, computers and playing with her dog, Toby. She has taught Vacation Bible School and computer classes. Joanne loves children's inquiring minds, many questions and smiling faces!
Cheryl Mateer
Mrs. Mateer returns for her third year and will be assisting Mrs. Ritter with the Monday/Wednesday/Friday morning four-year-olds and Mrs. Eickmann with the afternoon four-year-olds. She has been an active parent and substitute and her three sons are alumni of our school. Cheryl attends St. Katherine Drexel Church, and she is active at Tyler Elementary, where her children attend. Her hobbies include gardening, anything that involves the outdoors and just being a mom. She enjoys being with preschoolers, loves giving out hugs and kisses, helping children adjust to preschool and encouraging each child have a great day while in her care.
Meg Reedy
Meg Reedy is returning to HBCPk after teaching for two years in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is thrilled to be working alongside Betty Jo Goff again and be a part of the staff once more. Meg has worked with children for many years and will be starting her 4th year in the classroom this school year. One of her biggest passions is working with children overseas and has worked with children in Botswana, Africa, as well as in the islands of Micronesia. She is looking forward to wherever her next trip might be, but is hoping to make it to both India and Afghanistan. She is currently writing her first children's book, and loves to stay busy by running, rock climbing, hiking, camping, and cooking.
Bobbie Tolson
Mrs. Tolson, returning for her fourth year, assists Mrs. Wilkens with the morning two-day three-year-olds. Bobbie enjoys just about any creative outlet, flower gardening, new organizational ideas and ministering to women in her church and neighborhood. She is a graduate of Southwestern University, with a Bachelors degree in Computer Programming. Bobbie is married with two children, one a Kindergarten graduate and one beginning Kindergarten at HBCPK this year. She is an active member of Grace Life Community Church where she serves on both the toddler and teen ministries. She has worked with nursery age and the three-year-olds and currently co-leads a Mommy & Me Bible Study that incorporates a music class.
