Kristine Adams
Mrs. Kristine Adams begins her 2nd year,assisting in the afternoon Pre-K program with Mrs. Waskow. She has a BS in Management and is married, with two children; one attending our school. Kristine is active at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, where she has been a CCD teacher for five years. Kristine is in process of completing her ACSI Early Education Credential. She has been an active parent in our school, running our school book fair and doing our entire Scholastic book ordering, and she will continue on, along with assisting. She enjoys children because they are so eager to learn.
Lori Brown
Mrs. Brown has worked at our school for 14 years and has been working along side of Mrs. McNeil in the Pre-K morning program. She is from Falls Church, VA and attended Bridgewater College. Mrs. Brown is married and has two grown children, both in college. She attends church at Gainesville United Methodist. She enjoys shopping, visiting friends and volunteering at Brentsville High School. She loves helping children have special days by making them smile, she runs the morning carpool, and she is a great organizer in the classroom.
Jill Christopher
Mrs. Jill Christopher assists Mrs. Hudson in the two-year-old classes on Wednesday and Friday. She has her Batchelor's Degree from Radford and her Master's from Virginia Tech. Jill is married with four boys, and each has attended our school, all graduates, except the youngest who attends our 3's program! She attends Haymarket Baptist Church and serves in the church nursery and Sunday school department. Jill enjoys time with her family at the beach or hiking or camping. She loves to see wonder and excitement in a child's eyes as they learn. She is a sweet and gentle spirit that will make each two-and-a-half-year-old child feel loved and special.
Colleen Davis
Mrs. Davis returns for her third year, and assists Mrs. Ream in the morning and afternoon 3's program MWF. Colleen has been an active parent, substitute and Bible Study leader at our school. She is married and has two young sons. Colleen attends Centerpointe Church of Fair Oaks where she is active in the toddler/nursery department, meal ministry coordinator and women's ministry leader. She enjoys reading with a good cup of coffee! Mrs. Davis has a sweet spirit that adores children, and has great organizational abilities, both of these attributes make her an asset to the classroom.
Amy Duff
Mrs. Duff is assisting Mrs. McNeil in her afternoon Pre K class. She is new to us this year, but comes with a wealth of experience, including 8 years of teaching at two different Christian preschools. Amy is a graduate of George Mason University. She has one teen daughter.
Joanne Keiser
Mrs. Keiser assists Mrs. Lawler in the Pre-K classroom each morning and assists Mrs. Mason in the afternoon 3's. She begins her fifth year with us! She has long been associated with our school, as each of her children has been a graduate here. Mrs. Keiser also is our testing coordinator for kindergarten readiness testing. She and her family attend Holy Trinity Church and she is active in the Mom's Group there. Joanne enjoys gardening, reading and computers. She has taught vacation bible school and computer classes. Joanne loves children's inquiring minds, many questions and smiling faces!
Brenda Leger
Mrs. Leger (pronounced La-zhay) begins her 7th year at our school, and has worked continuously with our 3 year-olds either in a lead or assisting role. This year she will assist Mrs. Mason in the morning 3's class. She is married and has three children and two grandchildren. Brenda attends church at Grace Church of Gainesville. She loves to sew, helps keep us organized and enjoys every day with the children. Mrs. Leger has been working with children since 1987 and continues to share her love of the Lord with each child.
Robin Massey
Mrs. Robin Massey spent three years teaching music classes to our four-year-olds and begins her 2nd year of assisting Mrs. Goff in the mornings and afternoons with Pre-K. She brings a wealth of experience after running her own Gymboree franchise for nine years. Robin is married and has three daughters; one married, one in college and one in high school. She and her family attend Centreville Presbyterian Church. She is looking forward to a new year of exciting and creative experiences with Mrs. Goff and your child!
Cheryl Mateer
Mrs. Mateer returns for her third year and will be assisting Mrs. Ritter with the Monday/Wednesday/Friday morning four-year-olds. She has been an active parent and substitute and her three sons are alumni of our school. Cheryl attends St. Katherine Drexel Church, and she is active at Tyler Elementary, where her children attend. Her hobbies include gardening, anything that involves the outdoors and just being a mom. She enjoys being with preschoolers, loves giving out hugs and kisses, helping children adjust to preschool and encouraging each child have a great day while in her care.
Martha Munger
Mrs. Munger will be assisting Mrs. Farthing with the afternoon MWF 4's class. Martha has her BA from Virginia Tech and her Masters of Education from Marymount. She attends Manassas St. Thomas Methodist Church, is married with 2 young sons. Martha loves the curiosity, excitement and exhuberance of preschoolers..they are excited about everything! She enjoys reading, gardening, singing and family time.
Ruthanne Sawyer
Mrs. Sawyer returns to us, after taking a break to have her 3rd son...a future preschooler! Ruthanne assisted Mrs. Hudson with the 2's class for several years, and now will return to that class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. She is a graduate of Meredith College and already has her ACSI Early Education Teacher Credential. Her oldest son is a school alumni, and her middle son is currently attending. Ruthanne is a member and deacon at Haymarket Baptist Church, the director of VBS this year, and manages the books for her husband's business.
Sarah Schweitzer
Mrs. Schweitzer returns for her 2nd year assisting Mrs. Wilkens in the morning MWF three-year old class and the afternoon MWF four-year-old class. She is from Richmond, VA and graduated from Old Dominion University. She is currently working on her Early Childhood Education Teaching Credential. Sarah is married with three children and is a US Army wife. She enjoys reading, traveling, music and spending time with family and friends. Sarah attends All Saints Catholic Church. Mrs. Schweitzer loves the enthusiasm, excitement and humor of preschoolers and she loves revisiting the world through a child's eye; seeing dandelions as flowers rather than weeds.
Bobbie Tolson
Mrs. Tolson, returning for her 3rd year, assists Mrs. Wilkens with the morning two-day three-year-olds. She is married to Aaron, who is a youth pastor and has two children, one a Kindergarten graduate, and one in the 4's program. Bobbie enjoys art, mural painting, and leading women's Bible studies. She is a graduate of Southwestern University, with a Bachelors degree in Computer Programming. She is an active member of Old Dominion Baptist Church where she serves on both the toddler and teen ministries. She has worked with nursery age and the three-year-olds and currently co-leads a Mommy & Me Bible Study that incorporates a music class.
