Suzi Burns

Mrs. Burns begins her sixth year at HBCPK, and has worn many hats over the years! Suzi taught two years in our Kindergarten program, three years as our 4's Music Teacher and this past year combined 4's Music Teacher, Kindergarten Cub Choir Director and also an Assistant Teacher the the three's program...now on to lead teaching in the Tuesday-Thursday 3's class! Mrs. Burns is a graduate of Susquehanna University, with a degree in Education, and a minor in music. Suzi is married with three children, and also has two labradors, Boomer and Simba. She attends Grace Life Community Church and is an avid knitter, photographer, singer, and all around creative gal!
Teresa Eickmann
Mrs. Eickmann is begins her second year at our school, but comes with a wealth of experience and her Early Childhood Teaching Credential (CDA). Teresa has taught preschool for 17 years, ten years at a school in Manassas and at preschools in New Mexico and Florida. Mrs. Eickmann is the lead teacher for all of our 2 1/2 year old classes. She has been married for 25 years and also shares her home with her dog, Baxter. Mrs. Eickmann attends Bethlehem Lutheran Church, she enjoys gardening, and going to the beach.
Betty Jo Goff
Mrs. Goff begins her eighth year at our school and has over 20 years of experience with preschool and kindergarten-age children. She teaches full time with morning and afternoon Pre-K. Betty Jo has a Liberal Arts degree from NOVA and has completed her teaching credential through Association of Christian Schools International. She attends church at Park Valley Church. She adds her gift of signing to the classroom, as the children learn colors, songs, and prayers, both in sign and in Spanish. Mrs. Goff is married and has a daughter in college, and a great big poodle named Harley!
Ann Kim

Mrs. Kim is new to the four year old team this year. She has spent the last 3 years with our Kindergarten Enrichment Program, with Lego Club and as our head library volunteer. Ann is a certified elementary teacher with both her Bachelors and Master's Degrees. Mrs. Kim is married with two children, one a K graduate and one a current K student with us this year. She attends Open Door Presbyterian Church. She plays the guitar and enjoys spending time with her family. She is looking forward to teaching our preschoolers and showing them how much God loves them!
Danielle Lawler
Mrs. Lawler teaches a morning Pre-K class and she is beginning her seventh year with us. She has two children, both of them graduates of our school. She has a degree in Nursing, and we often call on her to check over any injuries or sicknesses. She has also completed her Early Childhood teaching credential through ACSI. She is married and attends church at Park Valley. In her free time she enjoys collecting antiques, doing home improvements and spending time with family. Mrs. Lawler is also our Young Rembrandt's Art Instructor for Kindergarten Enrichment classes. Danielle is a sweet and gentle person who will make each child feel loved and welcomed.
Betty McNeil
Mrs. McNeil has been a teacher here at our school for sixteen years. She teaches morning and afternoon Pre-K classes. She has four children who attended our school many years ago, and now are in college! The McNeils have a young labrador named Bailey! Mrs. McNeil is an avid Jazzerciser and enjoys knitting and going to the beach! She graduated from Radford University with a degree in Business and has completed her teaching credential through Association of Christian Schools International. The McNeil's attend church at Haymarket Baptist. Betty has enjoyed having the same classroom assistant for all these years, and they make a great team. She has a very calm and positive atmosphere in her classroom which makes for a great day for all!
Becky Ream
Mrs. Ream, begins her sixth year with us, as the teacher of the Monday/Wednesday/Friday morning and afternoon three-year-olds. She is a graduate of Radford University with a degree in Journalism, minor in Child Development and has completed her Early Education Teaching Credential with ACSI. Becky is married with two children, both alumni of our school. She also has a dog named Ranger,and a cat. Her favorite things to do include spending time with her family, scrap booking, sports, jazzercise and bunco. Becky attends Grace Life Community Church. She has taught preschool, coached soccer and led Girl Scouts. Becky loves children! She looks forward to their smiles, laughter and their enthusiasm to learn.
Lisa Ritter
Mrs. Ritter returns for her fifth year, teaching the morning three-day four-year-old class. Lisa is married with two children, both graduates of our program. She attends Park Valley Church where she teaches Sunday school. Lisa enjoys skiing, snowboarding, reading, and traveling with her family. Mrs. Ritter graduated from the University of Toledo, and also spent a year at the University of Colorado and a year at Marymount. She has completed her teaching credential with ACSI. She loves hearing the laughter of children, their unique point of view and seeing them grow in their faith in Christ.
Jill Waskow
Mrs. Jill Waskow returns for her fourth year, teaching in our Pre-K program in the afternoon. Jill has a BA from Longwood College as a History major/teaching certification, and also a Master's from George Mason University in Education in Curriculum and Instruction. She has her Early Education Teacher Credential from ACSI. She is married to her college sweetheart and they have two children, both graduates of HBCPK. Jill is active at Gateway Bible Church where she teaches Sunday school for kindergarten through fifth grade, and attends Bible study. Mrs. Waskow enjoys cooking, exercising and spending time with her family. She loves making children feel welcomed and special in her class.
Tricia Wilkens
Mrs. Wilkens begins her seventh year with us, after teaching for seven years in Durham, North Carolina at two Christian preschools. She teaches two classes of three-year-olds and one class of afternoon four-year-olds. Mrs. Wilkens has her teaching credential for Early Childhood from the Association of Christian Schools International. She attends Bethlehem Lutheran Church, where she is active in several capacities, including teaching VBS. Tricia creates a warm and positive classroom, promotes friendship among her students, and loves creative art experiences. Her hugs are well known around the school! She is married, and has two teenage sons and a brand new labrador puppy named Ryder. She loves spending time at the beach and at her sons sporting events.
