Laurie Frasz, Director
Mrs. Frasz has a degree in Early Childhood Education and has been working in the field for over 25 years. She has been a teacher, a director, a program supervisor, a curriculum writer, served on accreditation teams and lead workshops, seminars and parenting classes in 6 states. Laurie attends Park Valley Church. She is married to her best friend, has 2 grown and married daughters, 5 precious granddaughters, and 1 heart-stealing grandson. She enjoys travel, reading, movies, good restaurants and shopping. Her favorite aspects of directing are leading seasonal performances with the children, creating a warm, family atmosphere in the school and spending time getting to know each student and family. She loves having fun with her staff and looks for ways to inspire excellence in each of them! This is Mrs. Frasz's 15th year at HBCPK.
Laura Smith, Office Assistant
Mrs. Smith is the Office Assistant and maintains the school data base, collects all payments, runs all copies and will most likely be one of the faces who greet you each day. Laura attended Biola University, graduating with a psychology degree. She has worked for many years in preschools as a teacher, assistant and office manager. Mrs. Smith is married to a Navy man and has two children, both in college! Her friendly smile and helpful attitude will always be available to you at HBCPK! She is starting her 5th year at our school.
Susan Jones, bookkeeper
The School Council is a committee of 5-7 members of Haymarket Baptist Church who have a love for preschoolers and a desire to see children impacted by the message of God's love. They are responsible for the oversight and creation the procedures and policies of the school. They invest time in developing our staff, and in maintaining a quality program and facility. Chairperson, Joannie Duckett, also a trustee of the church has been with the school since it's inception in 1989. Her son was in thevery first class at HBCP, and her grandchildren have also attended. Other council members include Jane Strong, Dinah Thompson, Ellen Plagata, Joyce Fairfax, and Susie Bailey(who is well known to our K students as Grandma Bailey).
