Welcome to Haymarket Baptist Church Preschool & Kindergarten! Our accredited programs and activities are designed to teach and encourage each child's natural curiosity, give them opportunities to learn about God, and prepare them academically for kindergarten and first grade. We create opportunities to develop social skills, enrich them with developmentally appropriate activities, and foster friendships, patriotism, respect and caring for others.
HBCPK is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International and licensed with the State of Virginia. We are also a member school with the Virginia Council for Private Education. HBCPK has been voted best preschool in the Haymarket area in 2012, 2014, 2015 & 2016!
Director's News
We are busy getting ready for your children to join us for school! Be sure you have all necessary forms completed and turned in by your Meet the Teacher day at the latest. If you bring them before Meet the Teacher- we can ensure things like your child's name tags will be correct from the start because one form asks what you want your child to be called. You should already have an appointment with your child's pediatrician. Remember, it's VA Law that your child cannot attend school without a valid physical. Physical are valid for exactly one year. There are no exceptions.
Parenting Class will begin Thursday Evenings from 7-8:15pm for 10 weeks. Sign ups will be available at Meet the Teacher. Great chance to start the school year on the same page as the teachers- same rules, same words-makes it easy to 'train up a child in the way he should go' (Proverbs 22:6, our school verse). Consider attending as a confidence builder, get tips, learn ideas and to share things that have worked with raising your children.
We are full for next school year (2017-2018). We have waiting lists for all classes at this time. Please let us know if you'd like a tour and be put on the wait list. All tours and entrance to the building are by appointment only. Give us a call at 703-753-9561.

Back to School
It's almost time for school to start, we're putting the finishing touches on our school inside and out! Please click above 'Just for Parents'- Back to School tab. There are school supply lists there, as well as Meet the Teacher dates, paper work to bring in, tuition rates, and information about Lunch Bunch this year. Also, at the Back to School tab, you will notice another tab extend that includes school forms. Please print those forms out and complete- bring those in over the summer if possible or no later than Meet the Teacher.
