Kristine Adams

Mrs. Kristine Adams teaches the Tuesday/Thursday 3 year olds, both morning and afternoon. Previously Kristine assisted in the afternoon pre k program for for 2 years and this is her 4th year with the 3 year-olds. She is married with 3 children and stays busy with a variety of sports and school activities with her children.  Mrs. Adams has a BS in Management from Lock Haven University and received her Preschool Early Education Endorsement Credential from the state of Virginia.  She attends All Saints Church where she has taught CCD classes for many years.

Loretta Abbott

Mrs. Loretta Abbott begins her fifth year at HBCPK. She taught music her first year to our 4 year old students and this will be her fourth year in the 2 1/2s. Loretta attended Northland Bible College and Bob Jones University. She has completed her Child Development Credential. She has 5 previous years of teaching experience with 3 yr olds, using Abeka curriculum. Mrs. Abbott is married, has 2 children and a new puppy! . She attends Temple Baptist Church in Herndon. She absolutely loves 2's and 3's and is looking forward to the school year with great anticipation.  Loretta enjoys music, reading and baking!

Kerri Gibbs

Mrs. Kerri Gibbs begins her third year at HBCPK. Previously Mrs. Gibbs assist in Pre K with Mrs. Goff and Mrs. Waskow, and now will lead Morning Pre K. Mrs. Gibbs attends Park Valley Church where she is active in women's Bible study and Sunday school.  She is married with three children, all of whom are graduates of HBCPK.  Kerri loves photography and has her own business; she is also an avid runner with lots of marathons under her belt!  She is a graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in Journalism and has completed the Preschool Endorsement Credential with the state of Virginia. Mrs. Gibbs also leads our Kindergarten Running Club and Lego Clubs on Fridays. Mrs. Gibbs loves the innocence of children, their eagerness to learn and their unconditional love!

Betty Jo Goff

Mrs. Betty Jo Goff begins her fourteenth year at our school and has over 20 years of experience with preschool and kindergarten-age children. She teaches full time in morning and afternoon Pre-K. With a Liberal Arts degree from NOVA, she also has completed her teaching credential through Association of Christian Schools International. She attends Park Valley Church, active in the nursery, Bible studies and VBS.  She adds her gift of signing to the classroom, as the children learn colors, songs, and prayers, both in sign and Spanish. Mrs. Goff is married, and has one married daughter and loves traveling with her hubby!

Vicky Hackler

Mrs. Vicky Hackler has been a music assistant, and then spent the next five years assisting Mrs. Wilkens in the three year old program. She is in her third year as a lead teacher in the 3's classes. Vicky has a degree in Psychology from Randolph-Macon and has earned many hours of Early Education training. She has completed her Early Education Credential from Ashworth College in Georgia.  Mrs. Hackler is married and has 3 children, all alumni of HBCPK. She has a labradoodle named Sophie and stays busy with children's sports activities, her church, Park Valley, and enjoys time with friends and at the beach.

Betty McNeil

Mrs. Betty McNeil has been a teacher here at our school for over twenty years. She teaches morning and afternoon Pre-K classes. She has four children who attended our school many years ago, and now are college graduates! The McNeils have a young labrador named Bailey! Mrs. McNeil is an avid Jazzerciser and enjoys travel and going to the beach and cheering for the Nats and Caps!! She graduated from Radford University with a degree in Business and has completed her teaching credential through Association of Christian Schools International. The McNeil's attend church at Haymarket Baptist. Mrs. McNeil is known for her fun themes, like outer space, dinosaurs and tracing everyone's shape while we learn about the parts of the body! She has a very calm and positive atmosphere in her classroom which makes for a great day for all!

Kelly Stone

Mrs. Kelly Stone begins her seventh year at HBCPK, and her second year with the MWF young 4's program- both morning and afternoon.  Mrs. Stone has been teaching Kindergarten P.E., and assisting the morning 3's and the afternoon Pre K since 2011. Kelly completed her Early Childhood Education degree from Vanguard University in California, and her teaching credential from Association of Christian Schools Internationals (ACSI). Kelly enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, camping, hiking, walking her dog, Lucy and distance racing. Two of her daughters are graduate alumni of HBCPK.  Mrs. Stone attends The Way Church in Warrenton and she loves teaching the young 4's!

Michelle Terhaar

Mrs. Terhaar teaches afternoon Pre K in room 22!  Previously she assisted Mrs. Goff.   Michelle is married with 3 children- all alumni of HBCPK.  She worships at Park Valley Church and leads a small group of K-1st graders.  Mrs. Terhaar received her teaching credential from San Diego State and has taught Kindergarten for several years in a private school.  She enjoys baking and decorating cookies, can play several instruments and is proficient in ASL ! She loves the enthusiasm children have, and the joy on their faces when they learn something new!

Tricia Wilkens

Mrs. Wilkens begins her thirteenth year with us, and has seven previous years of teaching experience prior to coming to HBCPK from Durham, North Carolina at two Christian preschools. She teaches two classes of 3 yr olds in the mornings (T/Th and MWF) and one class of 4 yr olds in the afternoon! Mrs. Wilkens has her teaching credential in Early Childhood from the Association of Christian Schools International and a Child Development Associate (CDEA). She attends Bethlehem Lutheran Church, where she is active in several capacities, including teaching VBS. Tricia creates a warm and positive classroom, promotes friendship among her students, and loves creative art experiences. Her hugs are well known around the school! She is married, and has two sons and retrievers named Ryder and Lucie. She loves spending time at the beach and with her family and friends.
